Friday marks the kick-off of the festivities as we welcome artists to Central Park!
Friendly, helpful neighbors will guide artists through the park & briefly assist them with set-up tasks, as needed. You will check in at the "Gazebo" in the southwest corner of the Central Park where you will be provided with a high-viz vest, a super-official-looking clipboard, and a map that includes the traffic pattern of the park. Most artists will arrive knowing their booth number & you will simply help them find that location in the park; at this time, you will also kindly remind them not to drive on the grass & to unload their vehicle & move it out of the park efficiently before they start setting up their booth.
These first impressions are what keep talented artists coming back to our community, so let's show them our unparalleled Corvallis hospitality! Artist assistance may include heavy lifting or shoving canopy poles into position & can be more physically demanding volunteer position.
